LEAK TESTING EQUIPMENT

In 2003, W. G. Benjey began manufacturing equipment for leak testing automotive fuel lines. We quickly became proficient at it and over time it has grown to become a large part of our business. We are familiar with a variety of testing methods including pressure decay, pressure gain, vacuum decay, and mass flow testing.

We have built many forms of leak testers over the years. Many of our customers prefer a "universal" style of machine which allows them to install and remove different tooling plates, with each plate being dedicated to a certain line to test. Thus, the base unit containing the leak testing components can be used for a virtually unlimited number of parts. We also build many machines which are dedicated to just one line and most often used in high volume productions. Recently, we have begun to offer a new variation of the universal style machines which eliminates the need to have bulky tooling plates for each line. Instead the machine utilizes modular tooling packages which can be changed out as well as being fully adjustable in location and orientation.

Occasionally, the fuel lines come with additional requirements like clip assembly or electrical continuity testing. We have extensive experience with these as well and can easily integrate these features into our machines.
