PAINTING AND POWDER COAT SERVICES

Many of the projects that come through W.G. Benjey require painting or other surface preparations. In an effort to streamline and make those processes more efficient, we have converted some of our floor space and installed a paint booth. This new booth has a capacity of 14' X 33' X 8' and is temperature controlled. We can work with all variety of paints, including latex, acrylic, enamel, and epoxy.

In addition to our painting services, we also do powder coating! WHAT IS POWDER COATING? Powder coating is the process of applying an electrostatically charged powder to the surface of the part being coated. The charged powder is attracted to the grounded part like metal shavings to a magnet. After applying the powder, the part is placed into a curing oven, where the powder chemically reacts and links to create a hard and durable surface coating. Powder coated surfaces are not only extremely durable, but also look great and come in a large range of colors and finishes. Our large capacity powder coat oven is 24' x 8' x 8', which allows us to finish a large quantity of parts in each batch and handle bulky items as well.
